City staff read the first readings of two traffic-related ordinances. Ordinance 23-30 would designate the intersection of West 5th Street and Jefferson Street as a stop intersection for northbound and southbound traffic on Jefferson; the council moved and seconded the ordinance for first reading. Staff also read Ordinance 23-31 to adjust persons-with-disabilities parking language and relocate a designated parking space at the Boone/7th Street intersection; that ordinance was also moved and seconded for first reading.
