Pipestone Area Schools board approves donations, policy changes and certifies levy limit
At its Sept. 22 meeting the Pipestone Area Schools board accepted donations (including 25 winter coats and $1,425 to athletics), approved multiple policy updates (removing a sentence from policy 527), certified the proposed levy limitation for 2025 payable 2026 and set a Dec. 15 truth-in-taxation hearing.

The Pipestone Area Schools Board of Directors met Sept. 22, 2025 in Conference Room 1148 and approved a series of routine and substantive items, including acceptance of donations, policy updates and certification of the district's proposed levy limitation for 2025 payable 2026. Vice Chair Katie Wiese and three other members present (Chrissy DeBates, Tami Taubert and Tyler Fruechte) carried the actions by unanimous votes.
