The Town of Windham Board voted on May 28 to adopt Local Law #2 of 2026 governing solar energy systems and approved Town Board Resolution #87 of 2026, which sets the Solar Energy System Permit Fee Schedule. Supervisor Thomas F. Hoyt moved the matter through adoption and publicly thanked Councilman Ian Peters for drafting the new law.
