After a split vote and a chairman tiebreak, the Commission approved a 9 a.m. schedule for 2026 work sessions and adopted the board's 2026 meeting calendar and related resolution.

Commissioners debated the 2026 work-session start time during the Dec. 2 meeting. Commissioner Jason Frost moved to schedule work sessions at 4 p.m.; Commissioner Damon Hoyte seconded. The motion received two yays (Frost, Hoyte) and two nays (Vice-Chairman Timothy Biddle and Commissioner Gerald Douglas). Chairman Charles Coffey cast the tiebreaking vote against the 4 p.m. motion, and it failed.
