The Big Spring Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved donations presented at the Dec. 15 meeting. The minutes record a $1,000 donation from John 11:35 Benevolence Foundation to purchase a new set of scientific calculators for the UIL Academic Team and a $2,500 donation from The Baird Companies to the Junior High Athletics Activity Fund.
