Trustees accept several activity-fund donations totaling $3,700
The board approved three donations to extracurricular activity funds—$1,000 to the high-school golf fund, $1,700 to the softball fund, and $1,000 to the BSHS BBQ Teams activity fund—by unanimous vote.

The Board accepted three donations designated for student activity funds during its Nov. 10 meeting. The donations recorded in the minutes are: $1,000 from Prime Services Company to the Big Spring High School golf fund; $1,700 from the Softball Booster Club to the softball activity fund; and $1,000 from Shannas Oilfield Service, Inc. to the BSHS BBQ Teams activity fund. Trustee Jesse Salazar moved approval; Trustee Julie Harris seconded and the motion carried 6-0.
