The Chanute City Commission voted on June 22 to approve a set of resolutions declaring several properties in violation of municipal code provisions related to nuisance and property maintenance. The mayor read the list aloud: 218 West 7th, 916 North Forest, 610 South Evergreen, 1207 South Washington, 217 West 6th, 305 South Central and 1612 South Highland. "A resolution to declare property at 218 West 7th in violation of Chanute Municipal Code 8.20.010 g," the mayor read when presenting the items.
