The New Marlborough Select Board voted June 29 to award the town's FY27–FY28 tree-work contract to John W. Field Tree Service Inc., the lowest responsive bidder. Chief Procurement Officer Mari Enoch reported bids from John W. Field Tree Service Inc., Northern Tree Service LLC and Arbor Works LLC; Arbor Works withdrew its bid under MGL Chapter 30B Section 5 because the intended correct number was not evident.
