Commissioners recognize long-serving employees; approve two retrospective facility requests
The board honored employees for milestone service years and approved two facility-use requests: a gazebo use on July 24 and gravel-lot volunteer parking on Aug. 1; both facility requests were for small groups and were approved 3–0.

The Whitley County Commissioners opened the Aug. 3 meeting by recognizing long-serving county employees. The commission recognized Virgil Fulk and Craig Wagner for 35 years of service; Thor Hodges for 30 years; and Christine Swinehart and Vicki Burney for 20 years.
