Lindsay Miner of Rich County Ambulance and Joey Stocking, Rich County Emergency Manager, briefed the commission on the Rural Healthcare Transformation Program (RHTP) and its role in providing ongoing funds to Utah over the next five years. They told commissioners that the county must participate in an Emergency Medical Services needs assessment to qualify for RHTP funding and discussed options for conducting the assessment, including hiring a consultant.
