Council adopts cemetery code changes in single-reading vote

The St. Maries City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2026-791 on June 22, 2026, updating the city's cemetery regulations. City Clerk Jaidyn Kinzer read the ordinance by title, and Councilor Cindy Willard moved to pass the ordinance by title, with Councilor Jeff Pugh seconding; the Council suspended the three-reading rule and adopted the ordinance under suspension of rules.
