Trustees accepted a slate of resignations, approved several personnel recommendations and approved contract extensions on emergency permits; Trustee Campbell voted against the contract extensions.

The Van ISD Board accepted multiple personnel resignations and approved recommended hires and reassignments during the May 18 meeting. Resignations approved (No. 11749) included Sam Harvey, assistant principal; Jennifer Barker, teacher; and a list of other teachers and coaches. The motion was made by Anderson and seconded by Hightower and carried unanimously among trustees present.
