Superintendent Jason Hewitt presented Policy Update 126 at the Nov. 20 meeting, explaining the package reflects legislative changes from the 89th Texas Legislature. The board approved the localized policy revisions with exceptions for three local policies (FNG(LOCAL), DGBA(LOCAL) and GF(LOCAL)), following a motion by Member John Few and a second from Member Rich Irwin.
