The Shepherd Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district's annual financial audit for the year ending June 30, 2025, at its Nov. 20 meeting. CFO J.W. Kirkham presented the audit report from Whitley Penn LLP, saying the firm provided "an unmodified audit opinion," commonly described as a "clean" opinion that the district's financial statements present fairly.
