Code Enforcement reported two permits issued last month, receipt of Stewart’s Shops plans and permits, and that Slider’s will close Sept. 25 for renovations expected to last 6–8 weeks; Supervisor Houghton said the lawyer will prepare a condemnation letter for a separate property matter.

At the Sept. 9 meeting the board heard a Code Enforcement report: the officer named "Larry" provided a written report noting two permits issued in the previous month, that Stewart’s Shops had submitted plans and permits, and that Slider’s is scheduled to close Sept. 25 for renovations anticipated to take about 6–8 weeks. Supervisor Allison Houghton said she had spoken with the town lawyer about steps to condemn property in a separate matter and that the lawyer would draw a letter to be served by the Town Clerk’s office.
