Assistant Superintendent Leah Bobbitt had been listed among school personnel at the special meeting Oct. 6, 2025. Board member Matt Eastwood moved to rescind her designation as 'Lone Finalist'; the motion was seconded by Lorenzo Tavarez and passed by a 4–3 vote (Ayes: Matt Eastwood, Will Sudweeks, Chris Pratt, Lorenzo Tavarez; Nays: Sandra Smith, Iris Hammontree, Robert Anderson).
