Princeville board presses solar developer over missing tree buffer and potential permit violation
Trustees said a solar developer indicated it would not install a promised tree buffer; the board said the buffer language is in the agreement and Superintendent Chad Gardner will contact the developer about an extra pole that may violate zoning.

Board members said representatives of a solar farm told them that the originally promised buffer of trees would not be installed. Trustee Delbridge pointed to buffer requirements in the contract and said the developer must follow the agreement; President Troutman confirmed the discussion with the representatives.
