The Commission adopted two resolutions June 2 directing that the Progress Pride Flag be flown at City Hall from June 3–19, 2026, and the Juneteenth Flag from June 19–July 4, 2026. The resolutions cite local history and prior actions recognizing Athens Pride Month and Juneteenth and instruct the Manager to support events and compliance with ACCGov Administrative Policy CSD-002.
