The Schleicher County Commissioners' Court on Feb. 3 approved an extension of the county's Declaration of Local Disaster for a public-health and safety emergency tied to a winter storm two weeks earlier. Commissioner Chris Meador moved to approve the extension and Commissioner Gary Gibson seconded; the motion passed.
