Sweetwater ISD board approves SB12 compliance certification
The Sweetwater ISD Board approved certification of compliance with Texas Education Code 39.008 (Senate Bill 12) on a 5-0 vote; the motion was made by Kathy Hall and seconded by Dennis Cumbie. The certification affirms the district's intent to follow SB12 requirements.

At its July 21 meeting, the Board of Trustees of the Sweetwater Independent School District voted 5-0 to approve a Certification of Compliance with Texas Education Code 39.008, enacted by Senate Bill 12. Trustee Kathy Hall moved to approve the certification; Dennis Cumbie seconded the motion, and the vote in favor was recorded as Domingo Castillo, Dennis Cumbie, Kathy Hall, Matthew McKay and Kelly Sheridan.
