A consultant presented the city's 2025 roadway impact-fee update, describing the method: land-use assumptions (CAMPO/TAMU CAMPO TAZs), projected growth over 10 years, a CIP derived from the Mobility Master Plan, and the calculation that divides recoverable capital cost by vehicle-mile demand attributable to new development. The consultant said new cross-sections and inflation increased capital costs and that the city's updated maximum assessable fees vary across service areas; under current collection settings the consultant gave an illustrative single-family home fee of $6,773.
