County work on Ivanhoe Drive to continue; asphalt set for Dec. 12

Mayor Skip Blackstone and a resident update provided the meeting's clearest timeline for Ivanhoe Drive repairs, saying the city’s portion (Hwy. 69 to Camelot Dr.) is complete and the county has started work from Camelot Dr. to Charmaine Dr. East. Resident Joe Blackshear told the council that “limestone base will be hauled in and laid on Monday and be finished before Thanksgiving” and that “asphalt installation [is] scheduled for December 12, 2025.”
