Council approved a $2,500 village contribution toward the July 19, 2025 Car Cruise and fireworks after hearing an event update and payment details. The total event cost is $3,000; a $500 deposit has been made.

Councilmember Dave Klavon presented the plan and budget for the annual Car Cruise scheduled for July 19, 2025, including street closures and fireworks. "The total cost for the event and fireworks is $3000.00. Kaczmarek made the deposit for $500.00 and the Village is going to pay $2500.00," Klavon said. On a motion by Klavon, supported by Terry Burkardt, the council approved paying the village share of $2,500 by roll call (six ayes, zero nays).
