The council opened sealed bids for several pieces of surplus village equipment at the Feb. 4 meeting and accepted the highest offers. Bidders and winning amounts recorded in the minutes are: Greg Banister ($400) for a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria; James Green ($500) for a 1991 military dump truck; Craig Stros ($5,100) for a 2009 Oshkosh state truck; and Tim Thompson ($7,550) for a 1990/1991 water jetter.
