Board certifies TEKS and approves Transition Plan
The North Lamar ISD board approved TEKS certification and a district Transition Plan unanimously (7-0), confirming curriculum alignment and receiving the plan for implementation.

Kristin Hughes presented two related items to the board: the TEKS certification confirming that district curriculum aligns with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and the district Transition Plan. Joel Sanders moved to approve the TEKS certification (seconded by Bo Exum) and Bo Exum moved to approve the Transition Plan (seconded by Lauren Woodard); both motions carried 7-0.
