President Eric Kudrich opened the June 10 meeting by presenting a proclamation honoring Edward Kuhn, noting Kuhn was born March 17, 1923, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was wounded in Belgium and received a Purple Heart. The proclamation—signed by Kudrich and Mayor Cory Homer—described Kuhn's later work as a photographer and his involvement with local veterans organizations.
