Library trustees present budget with salary increases and feasibility study update
Colrain’s library director and trustees proposed a FY2026 budget with a 2.5% salary increase across the board plus an additional 2.5% for the director; they also reported a feasibility study site visit and projected FY2027 capital needs.

Chelsea Jordan-Makely, Colrain Library Director, joined by trustees Cheli Mennella and Martin 'Dago' Lydgate-Driggs, presented the library’s proposed FY2026 budget. The proposal includes “a 2.5% increase to salaries across the board and an additional 2.5% for the Library Director based on performance and trajectory of the library,” and it also includes a crisis-management support line item.
