Private‑drive residents told the Village of North Bay Executive Board on July 13 that the ongoing $200 charge for renewal of the village’s private‑drive snow‑plowing agreement is too high and requested a reduced rate on future renewals. Residents also raised concerns about plow quality and extent, unclear liability terms in the contract, incorrect contract dates and the absence of salting in many cases.
