The Dimmitt City Council on June 15 adopted Ordinance #061526, amending revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2025, and ending Sept. 30, 2026. City Manager Daniel Jackson explained the change is necessary because the new fire engine "will not be delivered this fiscal year," and the council voted to remove the purchase from the FY2026 budget.
