Anna Shigo, Open Space Coordinator with the Carbon County Office of Planning & Development, told the board the County is administering a new Open Space Grant program funded by a $10 million bond approved by voters in 2022 (83% support). The program will fund preservation of water resources, wildlife habitat and working farms; Shigo requested a municipal point of contact to help schedule and host outreach workshops.
