Inola board terminates Police Officer TJ Nichols after executive session
Following an executive session under 25 O.S. §307(B)(1), the Inola trustees voted unanimously on July 13 to terminate Police Officer TJ Nichols. The board returned from executive session and immediately moved to terminate.

After entering executive session at 7:10 p.m. to review the job performance of Police Officer TJ Nichols under 25 O.S. §307(B)(1), the Inola Town Board returned at 7:17 p.m. and voted to terminate Officer Nichols. Mayor Darlene Shear moved for termination; the motion was seconded by Mark Redden and recorded as approved by unanimous vote.
