On May 6 the Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation voted 7-0 to act favorably on Resolution 2026‑R‑05, which the minutes describe as authorizing the formation of a charitable foundation to support economic development, community promotion and public purpose projects. Vice President Mark Mayfield moved the resolution; Director Dave Rhodes seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
