The Wood River Rural Schools Board voted to recognize WREA as the bargaining unit for the 2027—6 school year during its Sept. 8 meeting. The transcript records: "Motion to approve the WREA as the bargaining unit for the 27-28 school year passed with a motion by Crystal Stutzman and a second by Jodi Rauert. Yea: 6, Nay: 0."
