The Elgin School District Board of Directors unanimously adopted a Board Governance Protocol document at its Oct. 27, 2025 meeting. The motion to adopt was made by Director Khirenda Johnson and seconded by Chair Kit Evans; the roll-call vote recorded all members as voting AYE.
