LISD board approves MOU with new Education Foundation
The Livingston ISD Board approved a memorandum of understanding establishing formal ties between the district and the newly formed Livingston ISD Education Foundation, 7-0. The foundation’s executive director, Janan Moore, outlined volunteer membership and planned initiatives.

The Livingston Independent School District Board of Trustees voted 7-0 on Feb. 23 to approve a memorandum of understanding (MOU) formalizing cooperation between the district and the new Livingston ISD Education Foundation. Trustee John Allen Slocomb moved to approve the MOU; Trustee Steven Grimm seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
