Assembly moves to oral voting after desk and microphone failures during floor session
Technical problems with member desks and microphones prompted the Assembly to test voting buttons and then shift to an oral roll-call voting method while repairs continue.

During the afternoon of Aug. 18 the Assembly reported technical difficulties with microphones and the voting hardware at member desks. Floor staff asked members to "toggle both the yes and the no votes to make sure that both of them are working," and conducted a brief test of the system.
