Commissioners authorize Watchguard firewall purchase using state security funds

County staff reported that current firewalls are at end of life and the subscription funding was expiring. The state has approved use of information-security funds for replacement, and the board approved and authorized Chair Dan Cothren to sign Quote Number QWSQ-11957-01 with More Power Technology Group for a Watchguard firewall project following a motion by Commissioner Lee Tischer and second by Commissioner Mark Letham.
