Commissioner Nichols told the Klamath County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 18 that the Wrights Spring Fire "has significantly stabilized over the last several days" though it is not yet fully contained. He said the county is working with a Northwest Incident Management Team to manage the incident and promised a formal after-action review to address communication lapses.
