Board sets trick-or-treat hours and notes community events
Trustees set village trick-or-treating hours for Oct. 31 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., were told the Trick or Trot 5K will be held at BoxLogix at 9 a.m. and that organizers do not require village-managed roadblocks, and heard of a planned 'Spooky Halloween Night' community event.

Clerk Shawna Atterbury reported an email from Ellena Gage seeking approval for the Trick or Trot 5K fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association; Atterbury said the village need not take action unless organizers request roadblocks and that the event will begin at BoxLogix at 9:00 a.m. Organizers reported that last year the event raised over $1,000 and handled its own traffic management.
