Leon County adopts BVCOG Rave reverse-911 emergency notification system
On recommendation of EOC Coordinator Bob Hickman, the Commissioners Court approved use of the BVCOG Rave reverse-911 emergency notification platform to provide countywide alerts and emergency messaging.

The Leon County Commissioners Court voted April 27 to adopt the BVCOG Rave emergency notification system for reverse-911 alerts after a recommendation from EOC Coordinator Bob Hickman. Commissioner T. J. Foley moved to approve deploying the Rave system and Commissioner Kyle Workman seconded; the motion carried.
