The Silver Creek Township Board on July 7 approved holding 5% retainage from each contractor draw for one year to guard against erosion failures or road defects during Baker Avenue reconstruction and other projects. Chris Klein, maintenance supervisor, described the payment process and said retainage aligns with contract terms.
