Superintendent Dr. Mid Johnson presented TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 126 for the board's consideration. The board approved the district's motion to add, revise or delete numerous (LOCAL) policies recommended by TASB Policy Service, while maintaining Policy CV (LOCAL) at a $50,000 threshold. The motion also recorded the district's intent to continue implementing grievance procedures under DGBA (LOCAL), FNG (LOCAL) and GF (LOCAL) and to exempt itself from further requirements referenced in portions of the Texas Education Code as stated in the motion. The motion passed unanimously, 7–0.
