Building Official Scott Cazier and Town Clerk Herd briefed the Council on plans for the Town to assume septic permitting and inspection responsibilities from Lincoln County. Staff have prepared a draft ordinance and permit application but said additional work is needed on system-type requirements (advanced/Presby vs. standard), soil-type variations across town, and ensuring the application language accurately reflects Town requirements.
