Council discussed the 1093 Rails to Trails effort and noted the city is "waiting to sign the contract for funds from the rail salvage" before deciding how to spend proceeds. Staff said they are working with the National Park Service on a vision plan and are submitting a small rails-to-trails grant request for "$10 to 15 thousand" to support trail design.
