The Preston City Council voted to continue with planning and budgeting for the 4th East Street Reconstruction, a project council members described as necessary for a heavily traveled corridor serving Pioneer Elementary, Oakwood Elementary and Preston Junior High. Council moved the item forward after a review of priorities and costs; Councilmember Brent Dodge initiated the review and moved to proceed, and Councilmember Todd Thomas seconded. The motion received unanimous approval.
