Board approves posting WIOA local plan and updated policies for public comment
The Workforce Development Board approved posting the WIOA Local Plan and a package of updated policies (including veterans priority and youth apprenticeship policies) for public comment; several other policies remain pending state review.

Lori Myers reviewed the WIOA Local Plan draft and an attached set of updated policies during the director’s report at the March 4 meeting. The materials distributed to board members included the local plan and numerous policy updates — for example, Sub-State Monitoring, Veterans Priority of Service, Adult Education & Literacy, Youth Apprenticeship, Rapid Response, Records Retention and Apprenticeship policies.
