Llano ISD recognizes student contest winners and qualifiers
The board recognized several students: DAR contest winners at multiple campuses, Central Texas Electric Cooperative essay contest winner Isiah Aguilar, and USA Shooting qualifier Riley Smith.

Llano ISD used part of its April 28 meeting to recognize student achievements across the district. The board acknowledged Daughters of the American Revolution contest winners Eleanor Bonnet and Paycen Merritt (Llano Junior High) and Zavely Grahn, Aiden Sweeney and Lindsay Mesa (Llano Elementary). It also recognized Llano High School student Isiah Aguilar for winning the Central Texas Electric Cooperative essay contest and Riley Smith for qualifying in the 2025 USA Shooting Junior Olympic Championship.
