Sheriff Todd Skarban requested that the committee waive the county Financial Management Policy to allow lodging within a 50‑mile radius for attendance at the Badger Sheriff Conference. Committee members voted to waive the policy and approve the lodging request; the motion was made by Supervisor Al Schreiber and seconded by Supervisor David Parmentier, and it carried.
