Following an executive session for personnel matters, the Sinton ISD Board reconvened and voted to appoint Shirley Koether as interim principal of Sinton Elementary, effective immediately. Board Secretary Crystal Saldaña moved for the appointment; Board Member Richard Gingrich seconded. The motion passed 5-0.
