Roadmaster Rick Macklem told the Watson Township Board on Sept. 19 that routine mowing and oil-and-chip work are complete but that a culvert pipe on Fillman Road is collapsing and should be replaced. Macklem said a resident (Richard Lange) had contacted Representative Hamm about water ponding on Rte. 44 near Verizon and that stone has been put in place to address the immediate concern.
